I Can Has Hope?

Hope. Everyone could use some of it. Our goal is to offer a source of joy and inspiration that also does some real people some real good in the process.

So here’s the deal: you submit funny, cute, witty, or awww-some photos of kittens, puppies, ducks, pigs, kids, politicians… whatever. I’ll post them here for the world to see. And if someone decides to visit one of our sponsors, that’s where the real magic happens: I’ll donate 50% of every penny this site makes to Barack Obama’s campaign!

Now, that’s bound to raise some questions, so I’ll answer some of them here (If you have others, contact me!):

Will you really donate 50% to Obama’s campaign? You betcha! When I get a check from one of our advertisers, I’ll immediately log on to BarackObama.com and donate 50% of that money directly to his campaign.

Why only half of the money? Well, bandwidth is expensive, and it takes time and effort to run a website of this obviously superb quality. The other half of the money will make sure this website keeps on truckin’.

What happens when you can’t donate any more to the campaign? According to U.S. law, I can only donate $2,300 to the primary election, and $2,300 to the general election. But once we hit that limit, that’s when things really get to get fun! We’ll choose a new hope-inspiring charity or organization to start supporting. Barack Obama may be a catalyst for hope and change, but he’s not the only one out there doing good work! Your support will still go toward good organizations bringing hope and inspiration to people the world over.
